Additional Details
The GQ-IMD is a high-voltage insulation monitoring device (IMD) for EVs and EV chargers. It dynamically monitors isolation resistance and reports isolation status, HV battery voltage, per-rail (HV+/HV−) resistance and temperature over CAN 2.0B, across the automotive –40 to +105 °C range. Designed to comply with ISO 6469-3:2011-12, UL 2231-1/-2, IEC 61557 and CFR 571.305.
Installation: both Earth1 and Earth2 must be connected to chassis GND, otherwise the system cannot measure insulation resistance correctly.
